I am also a Debian maintainer, and maintain a number of packages in Debian, including:

• heimdal: Swedish based implementation of Kerberos, a secure protocol for authentication based on a trusted third party computer.
• dar: An improved version of tar designed for making backups. It is entirely written in C++.
• amavisd-new: A virus scanner spam scanner written in Perl. It is intended to work with Postfix, but also reportedly works with other MTA (mail transfer agents) such as Exim4 and sendmail.
